Website analytics

ZemDomu uses Umami Cloud to understand website use and improve its documentation. We do not set analytics cookies, store a browser-persistent identifier, or supply a user ID. Umami groups visits using an anonymous identifier derived from the website ID, IP address, browser User-Agent, and a rotating salt. This grouping is not a guarantee of absolute anonymity.

We measure page views and four interactions: installation-link clicks, copied setup commands, guide-to-rule navigation, and rule-to-installation navigation. Fixed labels distinguish product, placement, interaction and destination category. These measure interest rather than confirmed installs. We send page paths without query strings or hashes and retain only the referrer's origin. We do not send page titles, source code, form contents, account identifiers, session properties, recordings or error reports. The tracker respects a browser's enabled Do Not Track preference.

The Umami Cloud Hobby plan retains analytics for six months. Umami also processes request information to operate its service. Read the Umami privacy policy and metric definitions for details about anonymous grouping and data handling.
